Estate Wrap-Up After a Death

If you're the executor, administrator, or trustee of a parent's or other family member's estate, it will fall to you to distribute his or her assets and wrap up his affairs. Depending on the size of the estate, this can be a lengthy process that can take anywhere from six months to two years and involves a lot of work.

I can help you locate the will, trusts and other legal documents and begin the process of identifying all assets and liabilities of the estate, and then distributing them to the beneficiaries.  This may include reporting the death to life insurance companies, coordinating and completing paperwork with financial companies and completing an accounting of the estate.

I also can help coordinate estate sales, family lottery to distribute personal property in the most fair way, and getting a house ready for sale.

Handling an estate is time-consuming and involves a myriad of menial tasks.  If I can help ease the burden for you, please let me know.
